He was born Oct. 22, 1897, in Nelson County, the son of William Gray and the late Mrs. Fannie Davis Gray.
He is survived by five brothers, Floyd Gray, Afton; Gordon Gray and Melvin Gray, both of Rocky Mountain, W. Va.; Robert Gray, Meadows Dam; and Lewis Gray, Arizona.
Also four sisters, Mrs. Lottie Hildebrand, Fishersville; Mrs. Ida Dameron and Mrs. Estelle Dameron, both of Afton; and Mrs. Mary Helen Keith, Staunton.
The body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home until the hour of services.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Rodes Methodist Church, Afton, conducted by the Rev. B. F. Robinson. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Davis Willis, Harry Willis, H. E. Willis, Lossie Gray, Stewart Gray and Elliot Gray.
