Carroll "Corky" L. Runnion, 80, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Corky was the son of the late Harry Runnion and Maxine Korn. Corky served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958. He worked as an electrician with City Lights for 16 years and I&M for 22 years prior to his retirement in 1997. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Corky enjoyed euchre, camping, golfing, woodworking, RC Planes, taking care of his lawn, and fishing with his buddy and father-in-law Bob Byers. The one thing Corky cherished the most was spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow. Surviving are his wife, Frances "Susie" Runnion of Fort Wayne; daughters, Terri Koshurin of Churubusco, Pam (Shane) Randol of Roanoke; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Thomas, Eric Koshurin, and Jason Randol; great-grandchildren, Ryder Randol and Dominic Thomas. Corky was preceded in death by his grandson, Justin Randol, son-in-law Alexander Koshurin, loving grandparents John and Maxine Doxsee, and special aunt, Garnette Doxsee. Service is 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling from 11:00 am until the service, Rev. Richard Maassel officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
