Ida Yacks Russell, 89, of West Frankfort, lived at 202 W. 9th St., died at 2:25 a.m. Tuesday in Franklin Hospital, Benton. She was a past matron of the Eastern Star and member of the White Shrine. Mrs. Russell was a past worthy high priestess of the Madonna Shrine. Her husband, John H. Russell, died in 1952.
She leaves a niece, Mrs. Irene Yacks of Detroit, Mich.
Services were held at the Union Funeral Home, West Frankfort. The Rev. Herbert Johnson officiated. Burial in Tower Heights Cemetery, West Frank fort.
