Seabourn Barrett & Lena Jarrell had four children, Benjamin, Nancy Ethel, Clyde Murray, and Vena Mae. Their parents divorced and the two older children (Ben & Nancy) went with their father. The younger (Clyde & Vena) went with their mother.
Lena remarried William Neal (sometimes Neale). Their name was changed to Neal.
By 1910 Clyde and Vena were placed in the Chilloce School, an Indian school in Oklahoma and are shown on the 1910 census as CM (for Clyde Murray) Neale and VM (for Vena Mae) Neale. My grandmother, Nancy Ethel Barrett, is their sister and my father was named after her brother Clyde. If you need census data to back up I can provide. I have often wondered why they were placed in an Indian school since neither were Indian.
