Graveside services for Aleda A. Allison, 92, of Davenport will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15th in the mausoleum at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Those wishing to attend services should gather at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary at 1:30 p.m. Mrs. Allison passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Manor Care, Utica Ridge in Davenport. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Aleda Agnes Potter was born on March 30, 1925 in Davenport, the daughter of Lester and Emily (Sellers) Potter. She worked various jobs, including working as a health aide and in local restaurants. Mrs. Allison was a former member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

She is survived by Brothers: Dean (Edith) Potter of Davenport, Dale (Linda) Potter of Blue Grass, IA; Nephews: Al (Linda Baker) Jolley of Rock Island, IL, Matt Garlock of Davenport; 3 Grandchildren, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Hansen, an infant son, two sisters, and two brothers.

Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
