OBITUARY: The Morning Press, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Saturday, December 12, 1959
Samuel C. Loreman, ninety-two, Catawissa R.D.2, died last night at nine-fifty-five in Geisinger Hospital, Danville.
Born November 6, 1867, in Franklin Township, he was the son of the late Johnathan and Catherine Mensch Loreman. A farmer, he spent his entire life in the area and resided on the same farm on which he was born.
He was preceded in death by his wife the former Eda Hartman, in 1918. He remarried, and his wife, the former Stella Beaver preceded him in death in 1932.
Mr. Loreman was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, Catawissa.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward Bird, Catawissa, and Mrs. Allen Stewart, Catawissa R.D.4; one son, James, Catawissa; fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at two from the Harold A. Wulfert Funeral Home, Catawissa, with the Rev. Robert K. Shaull, pastor of St. John's officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Catawissa.
