Alcalá, Alejandro R. "Marro" born August 26, 1929 in El Paso, Texas, died May 26, 2017 peacefully at his home in Santa Ana, California. He is survived by his loving wife Eloise Robles Alcalá, five daughters and one son: Kristina (Ed) Shubin, Valerie Guzman, Elyse (Dan) Thomas, Lexie Orozco (Willie), Steven Alcalá, Claudia Rodriguez; one sister, Maria Luisa Garcia; 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Yolanda Alcalá Bicking and grandson, Paul Guzman.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 11th at Brown Colonial Mortuary 204 W. 17th St. Santa Ana, CA from 4-8 pm (Rosary at 7pm). Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 12th at Our Lady of the Pillar Church 1622 W. 6th St. Santa Ana, CA at 10:30am, burial immediately following at Magnolia Memorial Park 12241 Magnolia St. Garden Grove, CA.
