Anna Sophia Bode was married twice:

1. John Ignatz (or Ignatius) Busam
Dec. 24, 1869, Bartholomew Co., Indiana
Busam was born in Germany, about 1832. They were parents of seven children of record, the first six christened at St. Peter's Lutheran church in Columbus, the last child born in Jackson Co. A divorce suit was filed in Jackson Co., then dismissed in Dec. 1881. It was refiled and granted in September, 1882. Their home was subject to sheriff's sale to satisfy the suit claims. The house was destroyed in a mysterious explosion in early December, 1882. No further mention of Ignatz Busam in local records, except where he was reported in his children's marriage and death records.
