Sixth Victim of Influenza One Who Had Offered All
Another victim has been added to the death toll in this city from Spanish influenza, thus making the sixth when Lee E. Kent, 24, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Jesse E. Kent, passed away at 3:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the family home, 317 1/2 West Third street, above the Geddes & Co.'s furniture store, after an illness of about three weeks. The deceased was in the service until a few months ago, when he was given an honorable discharge because of injuries received which incapacitated him for further military service. Besides his bereaved parents, he is survived by one brother. Funeral services were held this afternoon at two o'clock, from the Geddes & Co.'s undertaking parlors, the Rev. E. H. Jackson officiating. The deep condolence of the many friends of the family is extended them in their bereavement.
