She met my grandfather, Clarence Carson, when he was wounded in WW II, and she was his nurse. They were married 25 years when he passed away.

After her 2nd husband was widowed, they reconnected. He and his wife were friends with Clarence and Jeff. How fortunate she was to have found true love twice in her life. She never had any children.

She had a voice you would never forget; raspy. And her house always smelled like Folgers coffee; it was always perculating on the stove.

She was a great lady, with a big heart.
