Terry Mac Blose, 65, of Timblin, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, at DuBois Nursing Home.
He was born on September 21, 1950, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late John Blair and Lillie Pearl (McGregor) Blose.
Mr. Blose enlisted in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he served with the Division of Intelligence and Secretive Branch in Nha Trang, South Vietnam.
His working career included being a machinist, a heavy equipment operator, working on the Union and Pacific Railroad, and as an over the road truck driver.
Terry’s passion was tending to his home and property in Timblin. He spent countless hours working and caring for the place that meant so much to him, he especially loved his ponds, the wildlife, and the peaceful surroundings of his day to day life on the farm. He also enjoyed riding four wheeler and taking his Kayak to the dam.
He loved to shoot pool with his good buddy Frank Haverilla and visit with all his friends at the Punxsutawney Eagles. He also previously enjoyed traveling to the Amazon, Brazil and most recently Hawaii.
Surviving relatives include, three brothers, Richard “Dick” B. Blose and wife Pat, William “Bill” Blose, and James “Jim” Blose and wife Janice, all of Punxsutawney; one sister, Darlene Shaffer and husband James of Oliveburg; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Barry Blose; one sister, Sue Dickey; a brother in law, Lou Dickey.
In keeping with Terry’s wishes there will be no visitation.
