Caroline passed away at Cottonwood Hospital at the age of 70 years old. Caroline was the daughter of Lorum Sidney Asay and Caroline Bradshaw. She married her 1st cousin Eldred Johnson "E.J." Asay on June 11th 1928 in Grand Junction, Colorado. They were later sealed on June 29th 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Caroline was an active member of the LDS Church, having served in various leadership and teaching positions during her life. She served Two and One Half Years on a LDS European Mission. Her interests included Drama and Poetry.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday, March 6, 1982 at 12 Noon in the Winder West Stake Center, 4545 South 1200 East.
A Viewing was held on Friday Evening from 7-9 P.M. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East and at the Church from 10:45-11:45 A.M. Prior To Services.
Graveside Services were held on Monday, March 8, 1982 at 1:00 P.M. in the Georgetown Cemetery in Cannonville, Utah.
Eldred died on June 3rd 1996.
