Daughter of Albert Dwight Chambelin & Julia Alice Stanley

In the early hours of Easter morning Lola Chamberlin, one of our most beloved girls, passed to the great beyond .... For several years Lola had bravely and patiently done all she could to regain her health .... Lola was born at Circleville, Kan., March 29, 1895, and there the early part of her life was spent. Later her parents moved to Holton, where the greater part of her school life was spent. She graduated from Holton high school at the age of 17 years and later graduated in music from Campbell College. When she was twelve years of age, she united with the church .... In August, 1913, she came to Centralia to take a position with her brother-in-law, Ernest Hogg, in his store, and made her home with her sister .... She remained here until failing health compelled her to seek a different climate. After two and a half years absence she returned home last November for a visit, apparently well and strong, but a few days after her arrival she was taken sick with influenza, which so weakened her that a relapse of the old trouble followed, which cause her death Easter morning, April 20, 1919, at the home of her sister Mrs. Hogg .... Burial was at Circleville ...
