Obituary for Bessie Henrietta Robey Ludwig Walston

Salt Lake, Nov. 6 -- Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Ludwig Walston, who died at the family home in Portland, Ore., Tuesday, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock in the Twelfth-Thirteenth ward chapel. Mrs. Walston was the daughter of Jeremiah A. and Martha Dowell Robey, and had lived in Ogden up until three years ago, when the family moved to Portland. Surviving are her husband, Earl L. Walston; two sons, Frank and Robey Ludwig; her mother and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Electa Heninger, Mrs. Jenny Tietjen, Mrs. Evelyn Dahl, Mrs. Sopha French, J.A. Robey, Jr., and S.T. Robey. The body may be viewed at the Larkin Funeral home this afternoon and evening until 9 o'clock and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Interment will be in Wasatch Lawn Cemetery.

Bessie's first marriage was to Adam Richard Ludwig on 23 Dec 1905 in Salt Lake City, Utah. It ended in divorce and she married married Earl Lloyd Walston on 25 Jul 1922 in Payette, Payette, Idaho.
