Deceased Name: James F. "Jim" Tipton

FRAKES - James F. "Jim" Tipton age 73 passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 in Corbin, Ky.
Born April 25, 1936, in Estill County, Ky., he was the son of the late Frank and Rosetta Tipton. He was a believer in the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lena Case; and two brothers, Gent and Bill Tipton.
He is survived by the following members of his family: wife, Clarice Tipton of Frakes; two step-daughters, Connie (Andy) Jones Frakes, and Linda Willis, Frakes; two grandsons, Logan Byrd, Frakes, and Keith Jones, Middlesboro; a brother, Albert Tipton, Davisburg; two sisters, Kate Hall, Vandalia, Ohio, and Sandy Stamper, Vandalia, Ohio; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Willis Cemetery with the Rev. Kelly Partin Jr. presiding. Interment will immediately follow the service.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Creech Funeral Home.
Creech Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
