Joseph Ray Tenner, 93, of Woodville, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Dogwood Trails Manor in Woodville, Texas.

Graveside services were held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches. Officiating was Darrell Patterson.

Joseph was born on November 23, 1922 to Amos & Anna May Johnson Tenner in Port Neches, Texas. He was a former resident of LaBelle and had lived in Woodville for the past 28 years. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran and was a retired machinist with Ameripol Synpol Co. He loved the outdoors and was known to be able to fix anything.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos & Anna May Tenner; son, Michael Klinkhammer; and his sister.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Barbara Tenner of Woodville; daughters, Jolynn DeRouen & husband, Terry of Port Arthur, Billie Day & husband, John of Sour Lake, Sharon Winfrey & husband, Bill of Colorado, and Laurie Ann Bayern & husband, Mark of Houston; sons, Randy Klinkhammer of Kerrville, and Doug Klinkhammer & wife, Missy of Nederland; brother, Richard Tenner & wife, Betty of Port Neches; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Services were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
