WEST COLUMBIA%%Services for Ray D. Livingston, 65, will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2007 at West Columbia First Church of the Nazarene, officiating will be Rev. Bill Harmon. Interment will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Serving as pallbearers will be Cory Cook, Scott Cook, Charles Cook, Adam Gunter, Paul Gunter, and Wayne Gunter. Memorials may be made to West Columbia First Church of the Nazarene, Building Fund, 350 Wattling Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.

Mr. Livingston passed away Monday, February 12, 2007. Born in Columbia he was the son of the late Asa Delozia Livingston and Rachel Mabel White Livingston. He was a lifetime area resident. Mr. Livingston retired from John H. Harland in 2000 after many years of loyal service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Dorothy "Dot" G. Livingston of West Columbia; daughter and son-in-law, Delaine L. and M.G. Black of Cayce; son and daughter-in-law, Ray D. "Bubba" Livingston, Jr. and his wife Amanda of West Columbia; sisters, Marion L. Burbank of West Columbia, Ruth Marie Kelly of Columbia, Mary L. Jackson of West Columbia; brothers, John Arthur and Richard Albert Livingston both of West Columbia, Joseph Charles and Timothy Asa Livingston both of Columbia; one granddaughter, Chloe Abigail Black. Mr. Livingston was preceded in death by one sister Nancy Marlene Bickley and one brother William Dennis Livingston.
