GONSALVES, JOSEPH F; 79, passed away at home, Sunday October 2, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Rose (Kasparian) Gonsalves and the late Edythe Gonsalves. Born in East Providence, he was a son of the late Francis and Julia Gonsalves. He was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a former member of the Elks. He was a construction worker for various companies for over 40 years before retiring in 1994. Besides his wife of 14 years, he is survived by 4 sons, Joseph (Jean) Gonsalves, Stephen (Tara) Gonsalves, Kevin (Lisa) Gonsalves and Glen Gonsalves;; 2 step-children. Michael (Daria) Kasperian and Victoria (James) Waterman; 1 sister Flora Correia. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
