Gustav/August Hermann Beurer was a son of Gottleib Beurer & Caroline Blickley, both born in Germany. Gustav's censuses for 1900, 1910 & 1920 record respectively that he immigrated in 1883, 1884, & 1888. He married "Carrie G Ruff" in 1888, Philadelphia, Phil. Co Pa. The couple had at least 6 children, 4 survived. Gustav was an interior decorator; he died in his Phildelphia home due to stomach cancer. He was interred July 18, 1927. In their plot, Gustav & Carrie share a center grave together.
