Eleanor L. Penoyer, 80, of Clearfield, passed away on May 30, 2017 at her home.

She was born on June 12, 1936 in Clearfield, the daughter of the late Lynn and Amelia (Heller) Boal.

Retired, Eleanor worked as a Register Nurse at Prince Georges Hospital in Washington DC, the Clearfield Hospital and various other local hospitals and nursing homes. She was also the owner of the Captains Table.

She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed golfing, flying, reading, shopping and going out to eat at the finest restaurants.

She is survived by her daughter, Amelia M. Ciaramella and her husband Kevin of Manhein, PA and a grandson, Jonathan Miceli of Manhein, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Lynn Daniel Rabik and a brother, Dennis Boal.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 6, 2017 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Mark Brower officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, May 5, at the funeral home. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10:00am until the hour of service.
