Gloria Riepma was welcomed into Heaven and embraced by the arms of our Lord on Friday, Nov. 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and youngest son, Patrick. Gloria was born Jan. 10, 1926 in Benton Harbor and graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in June of 1947. She was married to Paul Riepma Oct. 1, 1948 in Kalamazoo, and dedicated most of her life as a witness for Christ.

Surviving members of her family include daughter, Mary Nixon (husband Tom); sons, Paul (wife Doreen), Michael (wife Cher); and daughter-in-law, Sherri. Gloria dearly loved each of her children and her 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. To know Gloria was to have danced with an angel and experience the radiant love of Jesus everyday as she lived out Christ's love in all her actions.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2016 with a luncheon to follow at the Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference Center, 4759 Lake Harbor Road (Muskegon) Norton Shores, Michigan. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (10-11 a.m.). Memorial contributions can be sent to the Patrick Riepma "GO M.A.D." Endowed Scholarship at Northwood University, 4000 Whiting Dr., Midland, Michigan 48640. Arrangements by Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon.
