Midge was the daughter of Ebenezer and Martha Taylor Richardson. She married Adrian Joseph Van Drimmelen on February 17, 1925 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Midge was active in the LDS church, and served in many callings. She was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was active in the Lady of Lions, Ladies of Elks, and the BPOE Does. She was a wonderful mother, homemaker, and an excellent cook who enjoyed treating others to her amazing kitchen creations.

At the time of her passing, Midge was survived by one son and his wife, one daughter (since passed), and one daughter-in-law, as well as 11 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Joseph J., parents, five sisters, and four brothers.
