STOUGHTON/OREGON — Percy A. Heggestad, age 70, of 1601 Vernon St., Stoughton, formerly of Oregon died on Monday, November 20, 1978 at a Madison hospital. He was born September 30, 1908, a son of the late Peter and Anna Heggestad. He was married in 1936 to Hilda Martinson of Stoughton. She preceded him in death in 1953. He was remarried in 1958 to Nora G. Kocovsky, of Oregon. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Stoughton. He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Delane (Anna) Steniem, Cottage Grove, Mrs. Edward (Catherine) Knickmeyer, Madison, Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) White, Oregon; a son, Robert Kocovsky, Oregon; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Peter Hillern, Morris, Minnesota, Mrs. Nora Campbell, Janesville. Funeral servives will be held on Friday, November 24 at 1:30 p.m. in FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH. Reverend Immanuel Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Mound cemetery, Oregon.
