Ted N. Gentry, 73, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at in Newbern, Tennessee.
Born October 5, 1943 in Fowlkes, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Henry Grady Gentry, Sr. and the late Ora B. Epperson Gentry.
He was the owner of Waterserv Company, formerly Genson.
Mr. Gentry was a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering on his way to becoming a licensed professional engineer.
He was a member of the NRA and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Graveside services for Mr. Gentry will be 11:00 AM on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Danny Klutts and Mr. Laddie Owens. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Rice Gentry of Newbern, Tennessee; one son, Jon Scott Gentry (Grace) of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Lisa Gentry Wells (David) of Newbern, Tennessee and four grandchildren, Emily DeSpain, Nick Gentry, Janie Kaye Gentry and Thomas Gentry.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry Grady Gentry, Jr., Lowell Thomas Gentry and Richard Garland Gentry.
Pallbearers will be Brian Rice, Levi Gentry, Tommy Gentry, Casey King, Chucky Shell and Jacob Mallard
