C.L. Keeler, 77, a resident of Shamrock for about 30 years, died at 11:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Dennis James of Wheeler.
Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning in Richerson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Beauchamp of this city officiating, assisted by Rev. A.L. Montgomery, pastor of the Assembly of God Church at wheeler, Pallbearers were: Eual Rushing, James Colvin, Charley Palmer and Carl Henry, all of Shamrock, and Chester Babs and Walter F. Shaw both of Wheeler.
Interment was in Shamrock Cemetery beside his wife who passed away in 1948. Richerson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Cassius Ludivico Keeler was born July 23, 1881, in Cash County, Ind. He came to Shamrock about 30 years ago and worked as an oil well driller until his retirement a few years ago. For the past year he had resided with his daughter in Wheeler.

Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. James of Wheeler, and Mrs. George Johnson of Golden, Colo.; two sons, Vincent Keeler of Studio City, Calif.; and Kenneth Keeler of Shamrock, and seven grandchildren.
