.. On December 28, 1865, Mrs. Lavina Lee married John H. Miller , he served in the same Company as Jackson and helped in the bury of his deceased comrade and friend .
.. After John and Lavina married they lived on Jackson's farm for five years , then John decided to moved to Ware County in the small area of Manor and was generally regarded as the founder of the little town of Manor..
.. John was an early Postmaster and also Justice of the Peace for 22 years. No children were born to John and Lavina, they were members of the Providence Primitive Baptist Church in the 1870's , for John was a Deacon and church clerk for many years.. John passed of cancer in 1902 and Lavina passed in 1922 with both being buried in Camp Branch Cemetery..
