Carolyn Louise Durham, 72, of Hornbeak passed away 4:02 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was a former resident of Tiptonville.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday at Lake Memorial Gardens near Tiptonville. Brother Charles Southerland will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Brian Rainey, Gary Southerland, Dustin Ray, Jacob Ray, William Schwind and Ethan Vaughn.
Carolyn was born September 21, 1944, in Sharon, daughter of the late Elgie "Doc" and Gertrude (Whitson) King. She married Jimmy Durham July 18, 1961. He survives. Carolyn was a homemaker and a member of Wynnburg Baptist Church.
She is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Brian Rainey and Danah and Gary Southerland all of Obion; four granddaughters and the spouses of two, Brandy Leigh (Rainey) Ray and Dustin Ray and Lindsey Taylor (Rainey) Ray and Jacob Ray and Kaitlynn Deann Southerland all of Obion and Chelsea Deann Southerland of Memphis; three great grandchildren, Gunner Clay Ray, Cooper James Ray and Melody Piper Ray all of Obion; and two sisters, Doris June Stephenson of Milan and Vickie Pearson of Tiptonville.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Adams and Peggy Adams; and three brothers, Casey King, Merrill King and David King.
