Eloisa Baca Stephens, age 92, went to the Lord peacefully on May 19, 2017 at the home of her daughter in Plano, TX.
Eloisa was born in Casa Colorada, NM on November 23, 1924.
Eloisa was preceded in death by husband, McKinley "Mac" Stephens, parents, Monica and Tranquelino Baca, son, Jimmy Stephens, sister, Elisa Montoya, brother, Bennie Baca and Fina Flores.
Eloisa is survived by her son, Tony Stephens of Albuquerque, NM, daughter, Shirley Hobe and her husband, Doug of Plano, TX and son, Robert Stephens and his wife, Sherrie of Charlotte, NC, sister, Margaret Romero of Albuquerque, NM, and brothers, Tony Baca of Belen, NM and Eddie Baca of Belen, NM. Eloisa is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Eloisa was a faithful servant of the Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering for many charitable organizations. Eloisa was loved by all and will be missed by family, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Her Rosary will be on June 20, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Albuquerque. Her burial Mass will be on June 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Tomé, NM. Divine Mercy Chaplet and burial will follow at Immaculate Conception in Casa Colorada, NM.
