JAMES K. ECKER, age 80 of Winchester, VA son of the late Raymond Edgar and Sarah Ford Ecker; husband of the late Elizabeth C. Lawrence; father of Mary Frances Ecker of Baltimore, MD and the late Terry Lee Ecker.

Mr. Ecker retired as a fireman for the Baltimore City Fire Dept. after 31 years. He was a member of Local 734 Baltimore Fire Fighters Union, the Baltimore City Retired Fire Fighters Assoc. and the VFW Memorial Post 7937.

He worked for the Anne Arundel School Board for eight years. He was a WWII Veteran having served in the US Army Air Corp.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home, 12 S. Second St., Denton, PA. Visitation Friday from 7 to 9 at the funeral home. Interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park near Easton, MD.

Jones Funeral Home, Winchester, is handling arrangements.
