Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Jacky W. Robinson, 83, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 27, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA with Mr. Bentley Curry officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery Monroe, LA.
Mr. Robinson was born on March 31, 1934 in Start, LA and passed away at his residence in Monroe, LA on May 24, 2017. He loved spending time coaching Little League Baseball and also played on many church league softball teams. Mr. Jacky was an avid LSU Fan. Mr. Robinson is preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Gladys Robinson; brother, Bobby Robinson; and his sister, Annette Tannehill.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Mary Foust Robinson; children, Weylon Robinson and wife, Sandie, Rodney Robinson and wife, Tracey and Cheryl Dozier and husband, Yourie; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; best friends, David and Carol Collins; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Rod Robinson, Daniel Coker, Ryan Robinson, Marc Robinson, Michael Collins, and Barry Collins.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until Service Time on Saturday, May 27, 2017.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Lung Association.
