Fred Burton, 78. died at a local hospital December 29, after a long illness. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Church, Jan. 2 and interment was in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, a son, Luvern, Rice Lake; two brothers, Henry, Cameron, and William, Rice Lake.; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Labrie, Alberta, Can., Mrs. John Hickey, Rice Lake, Mrs. Minnie Iden, Minneapolis; two grand children and two great-grandchildren.
