Ruthie Carol Stanley, 84, of Kirbyville, Texas died Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee, Texas.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 27, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ruthie was born November 18, 1932 in Kirbyville and had lived most of her life in Buna. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Edgar and Opal Lee (Ansley) Davis; daughter, Carrie Jo Stanley; and brother, Jimmy Ray Davis.
Survivors include her children, Miranda & Bobby Ratcliff, Deacon Kenneth Stanley, Venitia Chase, and John Stanley; brothers, Charles Calvin Davis, Mack Davis, and Wayne Davis; sisters, Lanette Stanley and Melva Jean Braquet; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
