"Died - In this village, December 10, 1896, Carl E. Harmon, aged 37 years. Mr. Harmon was the son of the late Calvin Harmon and was a native of this town. He had been in the drug business in Syracuse the past few years. He had been in failing health the past year and as the end of life seemed near, he desired to come to the home of his mother, Mrs. C. W. Street, in this village, so he was brought here last Thursday, and died that evening. His funeral was held Saturday. He leaves a wife and one sister, Mrs. J. H. Betts, besides his mother."
