Mrs. Adele Walker Ankrum, 67, of 154 Holland Drive, the wife of Raymond Lee Ankrum and a daughter of Joseph and Mrs. Irene Poindexter Walker, died in her home Saturday at 6 a.m.
A native of Fluvanna County, she lived in Virginia Beach eight years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, George Ewing of Laurel, Md.; two brothers, Joseph Walker of Dayton, Ohio, and R.W. Walker of Oak Hill, W. Va., a sister, Mrs. Carol Lowd of Washington; a half sister, Mrs. Marie Keatley of Akron, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home at Bayside to Rosewood Memorial Park for a funeral service Monday at 2.
