The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul's Church at 9:30 a.m. today by the pastor, the Rev. William Gaftigan, for the Misses Maria Christine Paluzzi, 12, and Angela Rea Paluzzi, 6, daughters of Joseph and Mary Ann DiRuscio Paluzzi, who died in an early morning fire at their home on Carlisle Road, Canajoharie RD 1, early Saturday morning. Interment will be made in the spring at Sts. Peter and Paul's Cemetery. Maria Christine was born Jan. 3, 1969, in Amsterdam, a student in the seventh grade at the Canajoharie Central School, She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul's Church, Canajoharie Girl Scout Troop 144, the George O. Vosburgh Memorial Handbell Choir, the Student Council and the Junior Choir. Angela Rea was bom Aug. 11, 1975, also in Amsterdam. She was a kindergarten student at CCS and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul's Church. In addition to their parents, they are survived by a brother, John Robert, Canajoharie, their paternal grandmother, Mrs. Joseph Paluzzi, Sr., Canajoharie; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Enrico DiRuscio, Schenectady; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul's Church. The Lenz Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
