She loved to sing old church hymns, cook and to plant flowers and watch them grow. She also enjoyed growing a garden and cooking fresh vegetables for her family. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart.
Mrs. Holman was a retired caregiver and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed and was loved by everyone who had the privilege to know her.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Barry Worrell and Rev. Eugene Heimbach officiating. Interment will follow in the Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Franklin, Kentucky.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time Wednesday at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Bolding of Portland, TN; two sons, Glenn Holman of Grenada and Harry Holman of Franklin, KY; six grandchildren, Deanna Hudson (Brian), Beverly Holman, Ashley Jones (B.J.), Wayne Holman (Leslie), Jamie Holman and Josh Holman; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jimmy and Gary Holman and a granddaughter, Chelsea Holman.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada, Mississippi.
