Helen A. French was born June 1, 1917 at Briggs, a daughter of Steve and Julia Voiten. When she was two years of age, she moved with her family to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho where she attended elementary schools and graduated from high school. June 2, 19410, she married James Adams at St. Mary's, Idaho. Following World War II, the couple moved to Kalispell.
Mr. Adams died December 21, 1965. September 23, 1969, Mrs. Adams married Dean French in Kalispell and the couple continued to live here. Mrs. French was a member of the Christ Church (Episcopal).
She is survived by her widower at home; one son, Stephen Adams, Ft Rucker, Alabama; her mother, Julia Voiten, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; three brothers, Joe Voiten, Boise; Leo Voiten, Coeur d'Alene and Felix Voiten, Newport, Washington; three sisters, Margaret Younkin, Stockton, California, Josephine Berry, Boise, and Sue Barber, Coeur d'Alene, Mrs. French, 53, died Tuesday.
