PRAGUE – Shirley K. Cerny, 57, of Prague passed away May 21, 2017 at Saun-ders Medical Center/Long-term Care in Wahoo. Shirley was born Feb. 14, 1960 in Schuyler to Raymond and Dorothy (Wagner) Hynek.
Funeral service was May 24 at Moser Memorial Chap-el in Fremont. Burial will be in Prague National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences may be left at www. mosermemorialchapels.com.
She grew up in Morse Bluff and lived in North Bend, Leshara, Fremont, Hooper and Prague since the mid 2000's. Shirley graduated North Bend High School in 1978. She worked at Blevins Popcorn Company in North Bend, Appleton in Columbus, Alco and Hammond and Stephens Co. in Fremont, Valhaven in Valley, Elkhorn Manor, Hooper Care Center, Target in Omaha, Graybils Grocery Store in West Point and Casey's in Wahoo.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy M. Hynek of Fremont; brother, Daniel Hynek of Uehling; sisters, Judy (Larry) Wesely of Malmo, Beverly 'Bev' (Chuck) Paquette of Lee Summit, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
