Mrs. Lillie Mae Jessup -COCHRAN - Graveside services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Jessup, 88, of Cochran, who died Sunday in Gainesville, Georgia, will be held Wednesday at 2P.M. in the Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Bleckley County. -Mrs. Jessup was born in Pike County daughter of the late Morris Milton Barrow and Martha Elvenia Hartley Barrow and the widow of Ben F. Jessup, Sr. She was a former manager of Wynn's 5 & 10 Store and McConnell Store, both of Cochran, she was a board member of Bleckley County Department of Family and Children's Services for ten years and a member of Cochran First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her son Benny F. Jessup, Jr.; brothers, Bernard Barrow, Robert Barrow, Charles Barrow and Frank Barrow; sisters, Mrs. Willie Crawford and Mrs. Lucille Cowarte. -Survivors include a son Wayne (Susan) Jessup of Gainesville; daughter, Kay (Tom Ed) Woods of Pineview; sister Ruth Nash of Sparta; granddaughters, Lisa (Mitchell) Woods of Hawkinsville, Gina (Daniel) Byrd of Waycross, Julie (John) Teague and Shealy (Jerry) Bloodworth, both of Bonaire and Janna (Spears) Mallis of Marietta; grandsons, Russell Jessup and Randy (Amy) Jessup, both of Gainesville; great grandchildren, Kayla Sewell, John Teague, Anna Grace Teague, Sydney Bloodworth, Carly Bloodworth, all of Bonaire, Ben Woods of Hawkinsville, Regina Byrd and Jacob Byrd, both of Waycross, Ben Jessup and John Jessup, both of Gainesville. -Donations may be made to Cochran First Baptist Church, 400 Second Street, Cochran, Georgia 31014. -Fisher Funeral Home of Cochran has charge of arrangements.
Married to Ben F. Jessup, who served in the Georgia State Legislature for several years from Bleckley County, GA.
