Charles Nolan Mitchell, 75, of Florence, passed away May 19, 2017 at his residence. He was a member of Stony Point Church of Christ; and former owner/operator of Mitchell Auto Parts.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. at Stony Point Church of Christ. The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. at the church with Brad Adcock and Wayne Wood officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenview Memorial Park Love Mausoleum.
Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, Vera and Nolan Mitchell; brother, David Raymond Mitchell; and sisters, Mary White, Margaret Smith, and Nola Marie Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Irons Mitchell; son, Tim Cochran; daughters, Angie Gattman, and Jessie Young; brother, Lonnie Mitchell (Beverly); sister, Ruby Hyde; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
