Duane R Gordon, 88, died May 19, 2017 at Kingston at Dupont in Ft Wayne, Indiana.

Duane was a graduate of Antwerp High School and a lifelong farmer. He served the United States as a sergeant in the Army during the Korean War. He was a life member of the Antwerp VFW Post 5087. On October 26, 1957 Duane was united in marriage to Charlene Garman. She preceded him in death in 2004.

Duane was born on July 29, 1928 the son of the late John and Winifred (Zuber) Gordon. Surviving him are a daughter Joan (Daryl) Minter; granddaughter Brandy (Brian) Nusbaum; grand son in law Ben Rager; great grandchildren Makayla and Nathan Sullivan, Addison Nusbaum, and Aubree and Kaitlyn Rager; a sister Vivian Baker. Preceding him in death are a granddaughter Kelly Rager and a brother Herman Gordon.

Visitation for Duane will be Tuesday at Smith & Brown Funeral Home from 2:00-8:00. The funeral will be at the funeral home Wednesday at 10:00 with one hour of visitation prior. Burial will follow at Forest Home Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Antwerp VFW Post.
