Jack Hopkins, 86, a long time Pasadena resident passed away on July 13, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Loydale Hopkins, and three children, Robin Nance and husband Bailey, Roni Glasgow and husband Scott, and Randall Hopkins and grandchildren Christine, Chase and Turner. Jack graduated from Pasadena High School and received a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas. Prior to graduating from college he was in the US Army and was very proud to have served in the Korean War, 1st Cal. Jack had a career in banking and finance before branching out into his own home remodeling business. One of his greatest passions was working outdoors at his place in the country along with spending time with his family and beloved dogs Scooter and Lucky. Anyone that ever met Jack never forgot him due to his outgoing personality and flashy jewelry. He was very much loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed, but rejoice knowing that he will be in eternal peace.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Grand View Funeral Home on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 10-11am and the funeral will be held at 11am on Friday, July 15, 2016 also at Grand View Funeral Home.
