COLUMBIA - Services for Gladys Boney Brown, 89, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Baranski, David Baranski, Steven Baranski, Robert Young, David Williams and Eric Gusey. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Tri-County, 111 Executive Pointe Blvd., Columbia, SC 29210.

Mrs. Brown, widow of John C. Brown, died April 26, 2002. Born in Blythewood, she was a daughter of the late Durham B. and Alice Wooten Boney. Mrs. Brown was a former licensed practical nurse at Baptist Medical Center. She was a charter member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church and known for her gardening and Southern hospitality.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Mary Alice and Copley H. Smoak of Galveston, Texas; sister, Jane B. Horton of Leeville; grandchildren, Catherine Gusey-Williams, Robert L. Baranski, David T. Baranski, Steven J. Baranski, Carolyn M. Linn; great-grandchildren, Eric R. Gusey, Meagan L. Gusey, Devinne S. Williams, Cory Anne Baranski, Brooke L. Baranski, Reilly S. Linn and Skylar C. Linn; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, John D. Boney and David B. Boney; sister, Alice B. Rabon.
