Antoinette “Toni” J. Maese, 68, passed away on May 19, 2017 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on April 22, 1949 to the late Andres and Teresita (Jaramillo) Griego in Cedro, New Mexico.
She was a lifetime resident of New Mexico and a member of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM.Toni was an Educational Assistant for 16 years for the Moriarty Public Schools. Her hobbies and passions included gardening, cooking, camping and traveling. Toni loved to surround herself with family and friends and loved playing with her grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her brother, Andres Griego Jr and son, Kenneth Maese Jr.
Toni is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth Maese of Moriarty, New Mexico; son and daughter in law, Kevin and Rebecka Maese of Rio Rancho, NM; daughter and son in law, Kimberly and Ulysses Anguiano of Eunice, NM and brother, Michael Griego and wife Bea of Albquerque, NM. Toni was blessed with 5 grandchildren, Issac Maese, Dominick Maese, Larissa Maese, Derek Maese and Ulysses Alexander Anguiano.
A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday May 23, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, New Mexico. The Celebration of Mass will be on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty, NM.
