John Thomas Foreman, 71 of Madisonville, KY passed away, Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
He was born August 24, 1945 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Joe Charles and Anna Mae Gaston Foreman. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Joe Foreman.
He was a member of Lighthouse Mission Church. He retired from Joy Mining Machinery in Henderson, KY. he was a former coal miner with Island Creek and Pyro mining companies.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Vickie Carlton Foreman; daughters, Kelli Darnell, and Heather Tapp all of Madisonville; two granddaughters, Madelyn Darnell and Abigail Tapp of Madisonville; one brother, James (Lois) Foreman of Madisonville; brother in law, Rob (Jan) Carlton of Owensboro, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 22, 2017 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Bone officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington.
Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday and after 9:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
