MINONK, IL - Shirley Anne Davison, 86, of Minonk died at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, IL.
Shirley was born July 21, 1926, in Benson, the daughter of Max J. and Anna Vogel Mayer. She married John Harvey Davison on Oct. 30, 1946, in Metamora. He died April 9, 1998.
She is survived by three children, Les and Carrie Davison of Arlington, Va., Ann Liebler of Portage, Ind., and Linda Davison of Toluca; a brother, B.J. and Helen Mayer of Naperville; a sister-in-law, Betty and S.S. Woods of Pensacola, Fla.; two grandchildren, Angi and Bill Solley of Falls Church, Va., and Tracy and Jake Tounget of Minonk; and six great-grandchildren, Wilhemina, Jackson, Sloane and Cort Solley and Zachary and Zoe Tounget.
She was a 1944 graduate of Benson High School. She later was a graduate of a beauty operator school and worked in Bloomington, El Paso and at her home.
