ROBERT J. "BOB" KILGORE, 76, passed away on February 20, 2015, to be with the love of his life, Berneice, who preceded him in death in 2003. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, February 23, 2015 at noon at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Willie May. Burial will follow at the Kilgore Family Cemetery. Bob was born on July 17, 1938 the son of the late George James and Cuzzie Crum Kilgore. He was a 1956 graduate of HEHS trade school and a veteran of the US Army. He retired from INCO as a pipefitter. He is survived by his three children: Mack and Melissa Kilgore, Lisa Kilgore and Randy and Susan Kilgore, eight grandchildren: Ginnie Webb, Jamie and Frankie Longfellow, James Webb, Jeremy, Jacob, and Jessica Kilgore, Addie and Aubrey Kilgore and three great grandchildren: Andy Taylor, Maelynn and Jocelynn Longfellow. He was the biggest fan of not only his children and grandchildren but also of all the kids he coached and followed through 45 years of involvement in youth sports. There will always be an empty seat at the games for dad and papa. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Reger Funeral Home.
