Anna (Merriweather) Brewer was born October 27, 1922 in Clarksville, Tennessee, and she was the daughter of Frank Merriweather and Elizabeth (Pettus) Merriweather.
She was married to James A Brewer and was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church, where she was on the Mother's Board, a Sunday School Instructor and a member of the Ladies Chorus and Mass Choir.
Still a resident of Clarksville, Anna was 94 years old when she passed away on May 14, 2017 at Grace Healthcare of Clarksville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and by her children Thelma Ann (Brewer) Liggins and James Howard Brewer. Survivors included a daughter; Brewer stepson; nineteen grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren, 2nd-great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.
Celebration of Life Services were held at Concord Missionary Baptist Church, and burial was in Concord Memorial Gardens.
