CHILDREN:

Peggy and Sonny have 4 grandchildren, and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Peggy fought a brave fight with Cancer, but lost her battle. She was a wonderful, compassionate woman, who loved life, and her family. She had an infectious laugh, loved to tease and have fun, in addition to all her hard work, and caring for her family. Peggy was an excellent cook, and loved to play games with the family, mainly Canasta, and Bingo. She and Sonny often went to Oklahoma to play Bingo. She also loved to knit, and made many Afgans. She was a friend to all, and I never heard her say a bad word about anyone.
Peggy had 4 siblings: Twila Naomi; Sandra Sue; Linda Joyce; Samuel Douglas "Doug"; and Mary PONICE.
She was raised in rural Western Lometa, and had many cousins in Lometa to play with. She attended Lometa School for 12 years. She had many jobs, including working for the Dallas Auto Auction, Grand Prairie Golf Course Cafe, and the Naval Air Base cafeteria in Grand Prairie.
Peggy is greatly missed by all her family. Her visitation was at the Brown Funeral Home in Grand Prairie. Funeral at the First Baptist Church in Lometa, with the interment following in Lometa City Cemetery, Lometa, Texas.
