Esther Levere Elliot Dandoy.

Art was a graduate of Butler High School Class of 1947.

He was employed at Franklin Glass Corporation from 1949 to 1964.
Art then worked as a Butler City Police Officer from 1964, retiring in 1988 as a Sergeant.

Art was a life member of the Fraternal Order of Police, a member of the Butler County Law Enforcement Organization, and the United Commercial Travelers Butler Council No. 465.

He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchild.

Art was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church.
He was a member of the Residents' Council at Sunnyview and served as President of the Council and also served as a Peer Mentor.

Art was an avid, lifelong Pirates Fan. He was a lover of county music especially Johnny Cash and a western movie fan, in particular the movies of John Wayne.

He is survived by one son, two daughters, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie T. Rovito Dandoy, whom he married on July 27, 1950 and who passed away on May 23, 1999; one brother, George Paul Jr.; and one sister, Irma Lucy.

Friends will be received at Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin Street, Butler, PA with the Reverend Harry Bielewicz as celebrant.

Burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.
